Tasting - Accuro Torrontes

Name: Accuro Torrontes
Variety: Torrontes
Region: Mendoza
Country: Argentina
Year: 2010
Price: $4.95

Critic Review: "Light gold, tropical notes of mango, pineapple, mineral, mouth-filling, lively acidity, stylish." - 90 Points Jay Miller - The Wine Advocate

My Review: This wine smelled of peaches and pears initially. When smelling a second time the alcohol began to mix with the fruit and gave it the aroma of scented nail polish remover.  It was slightly hot at first when tasting but then it mellowed out with the taste of grapefruit and finished with lime.  I did not try this wine with food.
